Creating Spaces You’ll Love To Come Home To
Home is where everyday life happens. At Dwell Construction, we take the time to listen, understand what matters to you, and help make your space feel more like home. From the first conversation to the finishing touches, we’re here to bring it together with care.
We’re a family of builders who care about the places people call home. Based in Ingersoll and serving the surrounding area, Dwell Construction was founded by Matt Dubé, who grew up learning the trade alongside his father and grandfather. Today, he brings over 25 years of hands-on experience to every project, carrying forward a love of building that has been passed down through generations.
We know that letting someone into your home is personal, so we start by getting to know you. We listen to your ideas, learn how you live, and make sure we understand what your space needs to be. Through honest conversations, careful craftsmanship, and attention to every detail, we build homes that feel like yours, the kind of places you're happy to come back to at the end of the day.
Who We Are
What We Do
We create spaces designed around the way you live. That includes custom kitchens, thoughtful additions, built-in cabinetry, outdoor living spaces, and complete home transformations, each one crafted with precision and finished with care.
As a design-build firm, we guide you through every step, from the first idea to the final detail. One team, one vision, and a home that feels truly yours.
Why Choose Us
When you call Dwell, you get Matt. He's the one who comes to see your space, and he's the one on site while the work gets done. You'll always know who to call, and he'll pick up.
We handle the design and the build together, so you're not stuck coordinating trades or passing messages back and forth. One team takes your project from first sketch to final walkthrough.
No job is too small to do properly. A full renovation and a single repair get the same care, because either way it's your home.
A lot of our clients come to us because a friend or neighbour sent them. We work hard to keep it that way.
What People Are Saying
“Matt, of Dwell Construction, built a covered deck for us that exceeded our expectations. We appreciated Matt + Lisa’s knowledge for design since we weren’t entirely sure what we wanted. He looked after permits, inspections + anything else that arose. Matt did not take short cuts with quality. He is meticulous, a hard worker + cleaned up after every work day so that we were still able to enjoy our backyard during the process. Lisa even helped with the decorating touches. They are a great team + we would highly recommend Dwell Construction. We now have the deck we’d always hoped for.”

From creating excellent design options to setting a budget, Matt + Lisa listened, understood + executed the project beyond my expectations. Matt showed pride + tremendous skills throughout the entire renovation. The quality of work + attention to detail was amazing. I highly recommend Dwell Construction + I now enjoy doing laundry!
